One Love, School of the Arts and African History
Creating an Equitable and Enjoyable Educational Experience
At One Love, School of the Arts and African History, our vision is to nurture the hearts and minds of underserved and underrepresented youth in 6th to 8th grade. We strive to provide a diverse, inclusive, and vibrant learning environment where love is the foundation of our educational philosophy.
A School Where Love and Creativity Thrive
Our school offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes dance, acting, singing, gymnastics, and more. We believe in teaching love not just as a subject but as a practice that permeates all aspects of our students' lives. Our licensed educators are dedicated to delivering Illinois' Standard Curriculum infused with the spirit of love and creativity.
Restoring Souls and Shining Light
Inspired by the words of Bob Marley, our mission is to educate in love, restore the souls of the African race with truth, and highlight the academic and creative abilities of all students, especially the gifted with disabilities. We are committed to celebrating and uplifting every individual, ensuring that each student feels valued and empowered.
One Love, One Vision
We envision a future where every child has the opportunity to explore their creative potential, learn their heritage, and experience the joy of education in a loving, supportive environment. Together, we will build a community of love, truth, and artistic excellence.
One must be taught and accept a new "overstanding" of his/her true origin to start a personal journey to personal purpose.
